We have been on the client side of this process. That is where the studio came from — and it is what shapes every decision we make about how we work.

The studio

Renovating in Portugal is extraordinary — the history, the craftsmanship, the materials, the light. But it can also be opaque and unexpectedly exhausting. Our studio was born from a desire to change that ratio.

Based in Lisbon and Costa da Caparica, we are a design and build studio that prioritises peace of mind. Every project is led by the interior designer Luana Rocha, providing our clients with a single point of accountability from the first site visit to the final walkthrough.

We believe renovation should feel like a transformation, not a second job. Clear documentation and honest communication are not extras we offer — they are the baseline we hold ourselves to on every project.

The First Look

You have the property. You want to understand what you are working with.

A paid on-site session with both our designer and technical director. We look at the structural reality — humidity, electrics, plumbing — alongside the design potential. You leave with an honest picture, a sense of direction, and a clear path forward. No vague estimates, no pressure to commit to more.

The Full Renovation

You want a home that feels considered — and someone to manage the process of getting there.

End-to-end design and construction, from spatial planning and 3D visualisation through to technical execution. You make the decisions; we manage everything that follows. Weekly reports and a live project portal mean you always know what is happening — without needing to chase anyone to find out.

The Interventions

The house is good. A few specific things need fixing properly.

Focused work on the things that are actually causing problems — humidity, insulation, an outdated bathroom, an electrical system that has been patched once too many times. Scoped carefully, priced honestly, and documented throughout. No full gut renovation required.

No line that reads "works." Every cost is labelled, explained, and written in a format you can actually read — and question if something does not look right.

Your project, always visible. Invoices, design plans, site photos, and weekly progress updates — accessible at any time, not rationed out on a fortnightly call.

Delay clauses in every contract

If we run late without good reason, there are contractual consequences — agreed before a single wall is touched. Accountability should not require an argument to enforce.

One person responsible, always

Every project has a single point of contact who owns the outcome — not a team that passes things between departments. You know who to call, and so does everyone working on your home.

A moodboard, spatial approach, and honest budget range — presented before anything is committed. You respond; we refine. Nothing moves forward until the direction feels right.

A detailed plan

Full layouts, 3D renders, lighting and electrical plans, material selections, and an itemised quote — all written clearly, all sent to you before construction begins.

Regular visibility

Construction begins. Weekly photo updates and written reports land in your inbox. The project portal is live. You stay informed without needing to follow up to find out what is happening.

A proper handover

We do not disappear when the work is done. Handover is complete — whether that is keys and a clean site, or a fully furnished home ready for the first evening in it.
